PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE
SEPTEMBER 2009
Dear
Fellow Members,
I sincerely hope
that everyone is having a fun filled summer. Your Chapter leaders have been
hard at work planning and organizing our Chapter events for the coming year.
Our first major
event of the year will be the Mid-Atlantic Region District 1 Conference to be
held at the Sheraton Richmond South, October 19th-23rd. The annual CIA review
course will be held in conjunction with that conference again this year.
Registration has been brisk so reserve you place as soon as possible. We hope
that you will take advantage of the many educational programs scheduled through
May 2010. Please check the schedule of
events posted in this newsletter.
One of my goals for
our Chapter this year is to engage more members in our planning and leadership.
Please get involved in our Chapter; we need your ideas and enthusiasm. Most of
our planning is done at the summer Board meetings and everyone is welcome. If
you are interested, please feel free to contact any of our Board members or
Officers, contact info is on the ‘Board & Committees’ page of this website.
I hope everyone is
having a wonderful summer and I am looking forward to the District Conference
in October, I hope to see you there!
