
Chapter Achievement Program (CAP)
Overview
CAP provides performance
measurement, benchmarking with other IIA chapters, and effective and timely
communication with your IIA leadership and Headquarters. CAP is a bench-marking tool. CAP brings recognition.
Service Criteria
Three service categories of a chapter and of the achievement program are:
·Service to Members ·Service to the Profession ·Chapter Administration
Minimum credit required in all three levels
• Service to Members : (325 credits
are calculated from the following services)
– CPE for members (only) for each
meeting/roundtable/seminar
– Social meetings - (10 ea. Max of 25)
– Number of CIA/CCSA/CGAP certificates
presented x 5
• Service to Profession: (200 credits
are calculated from the following services)
– Miscellaneous services to the
profession (see list attached or guidelines for details)
– CPE for non-members for each
meeting/roundtable/seminar
– Hosting a Conference
• Chapter Administration: (160 credits
are calculated from the following)
– Reporting
– Newsletters
– Leadership Conference participation
– Other miscellaneous
Recognition
Once the chapter has met or exceeded the minimum achievement credits in all
three categories (685credits) the chapter will have reached the BRONZE performance
level. A chapter can advance to the SILVER performance level by earning
an additional 375 credits or a total of 1,060 achievement credits made up of
any combination of achievement credits from the three service levels. The GOLD
performance level is obtained in the same manner by obtaining a total of
1,560 achievement credits.
